Dire Lack Of Genius
A long time ago, I did some parodies of the Anheuser-Busch commercial series, “Real Men of Genius.” These were done for a couple of sites surrounding either topical information on video games, or a specific video game. You can now download all of them here for the first time!
The series “Dire Lack of Genius” is fair-use Parody of “Real American Heroes” later renamed to “Real Men of Genius”.
They are made freely available for personal use and enjoyment and are meant as a comedic commentary on the Gaming Industry and the gaming community at large.
In no way are they to be sold, distributed, rebroadcasted, or podcasted without the express written consent of the respective copyright owners.

Not a gamer but well done. Not many of these parodies follow the original script as well as you have. Also your music bed is by far the closest self made example to the original I’ve heard. BTW Bob Winters is a copywriter credited with the first RMOG concept (Mr Bowling Shoe Giver Outer) but it was a large team effort. Music by Sam Stryke and Sandy Torano of Scandal Music (Chicago) I have that music bed and have fun making my own sometimes. Again, nice job.
Thank you sir for stopping by and commenting. These were done YEARS ago when these commercials were in their prime, and as a musician, I had to give my best effort to parody them.
Also, if you have a contact and if he is available, having Mr. Winters stop by and just enjoying this would be awesome.
No association with the creators, just a somewhat obsessed fan of their work. Still look for more occasionally. Found your site searching for more RMOG goodness. I believe the music bed for the radio spot was offered to the public by AB for a DIY contest hosted on their now defunct bud.tv.com website in like 2007. Not sure if that means they gave up any rights to it. Contact me if you’d like a copy. I’ve made a few edited for length versions to enhance much of my audio collection which I’ve decided to upload to you tube before I’m gone and my hard drive ends up in a dumpster. It will be more than what can be found on any one site. If you enjoyed the campaign, an interesting 2 part interview with the RMOG creative talent can be found in the playlist section. As of this date, about a third of what I have is uploaded. More as I convert the audio. Enjoy.

Sure, I’d take the music bed, but I had fun re-doing it in the studio. I even notated sheet music somewhere, just can’t find it at the moment.
